Top Tips

  1. Assign a staff member to triage Hospital Alert notifications. Our suggested best practice is to send it to a Nurse Care Manager or other staff member in order to triage what is sent to providers.
  2. Have the same staff member(s) manage all hospitalization/ED notifications into one centralized place/team, to minimize duplication of work.
  3. Create a workflow that triages
  4. Find more information about your patients in the CurrentCare Viewer and in other hospital systems
  5. Make enabling CurrentCare Hospital Alerts a part of your new provider hiring and provider termination processes
